XSign .NET 1.3
XSign .NET is a new version of XSign, based on the Microsoft .NET platform, and with new abilities, from which the most important is the possibility to process several files one by one, with a single mouse click.

The way the program works has been changed. The new XSign is now being installed as any other Windows application. It is not necessary any more to put all the files in the same folder, they can now be located anywhere on the hard drive, and You need to set their locations in the program options. XSign is of course still an add-on application to the actual signing program, which You also need to locate, since it doesn't have to be in the program directory. In this version all options are also being automatically saved.

Now it is much easier to sign multiple files "at once" - all You need to do is drag&drop all files to the list, click on Start and XSign will process all files one by one, and when all is done open the folder which contains all signed files. If You want, XSign can delete all unsigned files.

In this version much has been done in exception handling and stability, and processing names is also improved, so unsigned will always get changed to signed at the end of the file name. .NET Framework v2 is required. The program is completely in english. To those who prefer the older version, it will still be available for download.

XSign v1.2

XSign is an "assistant" program for signsis.exe and is created for easier parameter processing to that program and therefore easier application signing, which is done in literally two clicks!

Just copy to the folder where You keep all Your certification files (signsis.exe, certificate and key file), run the program, click on START! and that's it. The program detects the SIS/SISX file itself (the unsigned file which You copy to that folder), certificate and key file also, and all that can be set up manually. It offers the possibility to delete the unsigned file once the signing is over. When You enter all the necessary parameters once they will be remembered, so the signing is really done in two clicks. Note: XSign doesn't do the signing itself, it is like an add on to signsis.exe. It needs Visual Basic 6 Runtime Files to work. Works with both s60 and UIQ devices. It is a freeware application.

More info on signing and creating certificates on http://www.symbiansigned.com, and on many forums which deal with Symbian applications. A tutorial for creating a certificate (on serbian) can be found at Mobilize.rs forum.
